Tokaji is a very special, rare wine. Its historic production makes for a wine which is rich and ripe, rather than sweet. This wine come from a very small vineyard managed by the Renon Tokaij wine Maker Gabor Orozs, which is the personal friend of Lodovico Antinori and they have developed this project long time ago when Tibor Gal still alive. The aim was to produce only the 6 Puttonyos type, that gives the best expression of this rare and luxurious wine. The production of Baron Bornemisza is averaging 2000 bottles per vintage ones dedicated.
Light golden amber colour, spicy fragrances, excellent sugar-acid balance, convincing fruitiness, a lot of honey and minerality in taste. Besides its fruitiness, toasted aromas and the flavour of tea characterizes this wine. With excellent acidity and lovely orange, citrus tones, it is exceptionally versatile as an accompaniment to food.
