Description
Country: Loire Valley, France
Type: Red
Tasting Notes: This is one of the Loire’s most famous appellations, located on the left bank of the river in a region that combines hilly land and the Val de Loire pit.
Sancerre whites are very similar to Pouilly Fumé: fine, lively wines that combine aromas of a more vegetable character: box tree, broom, blackcurrant leaf, developing into floral, often sweet notes: acacia, jasmine and citrus fruit aromas. A pure opening melts away into a rich, rounded effect on the palate. Subtle wines that always display a certain freshness.
