The Proper No. 12 Story

It all began when founder Conor McGregor and his team set out in search of a place and people that shared the same love for Ireland and its whiskey. They decided upon the oldest whiskey distillery on the Isle of Ireland, and together with the master distiller, they created a unique blend of sweet Irish grain and single malt Irish Whiskey.
Named after the founder’s neighbourhood of Crumlin, Dublin 12, Proper No. 12’s Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey is a smooth, balanced blend with hints of vanilla, honey-like sweetness and toasted wood for a rich complexity.
Proper Twelve Whiskey is an embodiment of the team’s shared spirit of brotherhood, loyalty and hard work. Like Conor McGregor said, “It’s proper Irish whiskey and twelve is my hometown.”

How to Enjoy Proper 12 Whiskey

Proper Twelve Whiskey can be enjoyed in a variety of ways:
Proper Shirley
Add 2 parts Proper 12 whiskey to ½ part Grenadine in a highball glass over ice Top with lemon-lime soda and garnish with Maraschino cherries or lime wedge. Enjoy!
Proper Iced Coffee
Fill a glass with ice and add 1 part Proper 12 whiskey to 4 parts cold coffee. Add milk/creamer and sweetener to taste. Stir and sip away!
Proper Hot Toddy
Fill a mug with 5 parts hot water. Add 1 part Proper 12 whiskey to ½ part lemon juice and ½ part honey. Stir until honey is dissolved and serve with a lemon twist or cinnamon stick. Voilà!
