Wines/North America

US is one of the world’s largest wine producers and is also the world’s largest wine consumer. The most important wine state of all is California – the land of milk, honey and Cabernet. For California, I focused on the Napa Valley as our 80 Harvests region, but also visited some of the lesser-known wine regions around the state.

Canada is considered a fringe wine region, on the very edge of sensible. However, with the growing effect of climate change, Canada’s once considered crazy winemakers are looking smarter by the minute. And the wines can be fantastic. Lean, refreshing and quintessentially cool climate – Canada is one of the most exciting wine countries today.
