Description

Royal Salute is an unforgettable commanding, complex, velvet smooth Scotch whisky range, with a powerful and sophisticated style. The Chivas 38 Years Old Royal Salute Stone of Destiny is a Blend of exceptional whiskies aged for a minimum of 38 years. Each flagon bears a 24 carat gold-plated crest. The 24 carat gold-plated stopper is inspired by the hilt of ancient Scottish swords, a reminder of Scotland’s history for producing brave-hearted warriors.

Royal Salute 38 Years Old takes its name from the legendary Stone of Destiny. For centuries the Stone of Destiny was used at the enthroning ceremonies of the ancient Scottish Kings and Queens. After many battles, this symbol of Scotland was transported to London’s Westminster Abbey in 1296. The Stone of Destiny was last used at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. In 1996, 700 years after being taken to England, it was restored to Scotland; it is now in Edinburgh Castle together with the other Honours of Scotland.
